I am the project coordinator for the LEMUR study under the REMEDY Lab. I recently graduated from Florida International University with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience and joined the lab soon after. I previously worked with externalizing disorders (e.g. ADHD) in young children and provided research-based interventions to promote behavioral and emotional regulation. Now, my research interest focuses on understanding the neurobiology of internalizing (e.g. anxiety, PTSD) and externalizing disorders through the neural pathways in which emotional experiences are processed in hopes to induce neuroplasticity and emotional regulation in children and adolescents. Ideally, understanding the biology of these disorders will allow for better identification of at-risk youth, as I hope to assist the public health with accessible tools/skills to preemptively provide interventions.
