After graduating from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology, I worked as a clinical research assistant at the Rhode Island Hospital Partial Hospital Program and at Columbia University Medical Center. My past research experiences include studying patient satisfaction with mental health treatment, particularly in virtual settings, and more recently, studying how social processing in adolescents is related to the development and maintenance of depressive symptoms. Currently, I am interested in studying how sleep related problems may lead to the onset of internalizing disorders in children and adolescents. I am especially interested in understanding how sleep disturbances in youth may be related to deficits in reward processing, and accordingly, anhedonia and low mood. My hope is that this research will contribute to the development of accessible interventions that target sleep to prevent and treat internalizing disorders in youth.
